The goal of CTK is to support biomedical image computing. CTK code is licensed under [http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.html Apache 2.0]. This means that users of CTK are allowed to use the code for academic, commercial, or other purposes without paying license fees or being restricted in their ability to redistribute their code or keep it private.

CTK works on topics that are not covered by existing toolkits that support the mutual interest and needs of the CTK community. The main scope of current CTK efforts includes the topics ''DICOM'', ''DICOM Application Hosting'', ''Widgets'', and ''Plugin Framework''.

Imaging & Simulation Technologies in Biomedicine) in Sheffield;
he is part of the software development team for the research tool
platform of the VPH-DARE@IT project.

I am an associate professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at Yale. I did my my ph.D. dissertation at Yale (2000) and I was promoted to assistant professor in 2003. My research focuses on automated biomedical image analysis and measurement; interactive 3D visualization of medical images and structures. I also coordinate the development of the Yale BioImage Suite software package (www.bioimagesuite.org).

I am a student in master 2 Complementary competence in Computer Science.
As part of my end of study I completed an internship at Creatis laboratory in Lyon on "the exploration and development of plugins for the library medical imaging CommonTK open-source".
My mission for this course is to contribute to improving the CTK plugin QtTesting and solving bugs listed on github.
Embed in a BBTK implementation features QtTesting provided by CTK (automated testing of graphical user interfaces in Qt, integrable CTest / CDash).
Possibly integrate BBTK tools MAF Quality Assurance providing various tests (statistics, respect coding conventions, code complexity, memory leak, coverage ...).
I am also holds a Master of medical imaging physics.

Founding associate partner of Keosys, a company specializing in the management of imaging in clinical trials (Imaging CRO) and medical imaging software design, in which he currently holds the position of chief scientist in charge of research projects and partnerships with academic research teams.
Terve Pierre began his career with Alcatel in 1997 and he took the responsibility of Telecom oriented project manager engineer. When creating Keosys in 2001, he took over the responsibility of the research team and the development of medical imaging devices until 2007. He then took charge of the commercial development of the product line devoted to nuclear medicine in France.
He also works as a temporary teacher at the Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Polytech' Nantes university.

The goals of CTK are as follows:
* Provide a unified set of basic programming constructs that are useful for medical imaging applications development
* Facilitate the exchange and combination of code and data

* Continuously extend to new tasks within the scope of the toolkit (medical imaging) without burdening existing tasks
